I have that same cue that I found. I am curious about it as well. Mine came with a case that holds 3 pieces. It has an outline of him on the end and his signature as well. Please feel free to e-mail me with any info. Thank you very much.

I also have a Rempe cue with the same inlays as yours. I was told it was an Adam cue. I bought mine new in 1973 for $120.00

The only difference is the Scrimshaw on mine is Rempe is standing. I think the give away on the age is the Bell Bottom pants he is wearing.

I'm still playing this cue today. It has been a great stick all of these years.

Sorry for the delay in answering.
Yes the linen wrap has a coating.

What is a fair price for this cue?
It has a thin groove cut in the butt around the bottom at the end of the wrap.
Does this mean anything, like a defect or 2nd?

@ M Klein,
You mentioned the cue needed a new wrap. Does the wrap have the finish over it? You don't see too many Meucci's without the coating on the wrap.

I have a Rempe Stick
Paid $100.00
It has a parrot sitting on a ball engraved with split wrap.
This cue needs restoration - new wrap and the engraving is faded
due to some minor refinish sanding that I think was done.

I put the cue on ebay to see what comments i would get and or the value of the cue...i dont know much about it which was why I assumed it was a meucci. What would you say is the value of this cue?

I go with Scott on this. A dead giveaway is the length of the ferrule: Meucci's have the longest ferrules I've seen.. This actual Cue is now for sale on eBay (exactly the same pics, starting @ $400, see on right of page). I suppose seller never saw THIS page. I have a Jim Rempe by Meucci (this is written on butt). Not a real good one (warped butt, was sold as is, only $160). I'll try to post some pics if I can.
