I have a couple of great cues for sale from one of my Cue Club members, Tony. If you're looking for a sweet deal on a good cue, look no further. The owner of these cues used to play a lot of pool and travel around the country, but doesn't play much anymore. He wants to unload them.

I don't have a lot of details on the specs. on these cues, but the Tony says they are in great shape. He has taken care of them.

The first cue is a Paul Mottey that was made for him in 1990. He paid $3000 for it and is selling it for $1,500 plus shipping. It comes with two shafts.

The second is a Schon cue that is about 25 years old. He is asking $800 for that cue. It comes with two shafts.

Also, he has a sweeeet dice table that he is selling. I have pictures, below of the cues and the dice table. He's asking $600 for it.

Paul Mottey is a custom cuemaker residing in Pittsburgh, PA. He has been making cues since 1983. The craftsmanship of his cues is truly top-notch. His designs tend to be more classical like an old Szamboti or Paradise cue. That is what attracted me to his cues many years ago. More than that, I really liked how his cue played. I owned a Mottey sneaky pete cue. I loved how that cue played. Why I sold it, I can't figure out. Years later, after regretting that sale, I purchased a four-point ebony and birds-eye maple cue. That cue was georgeous.

Paul only makes one-of-a-kind cues. He'll make the cue to your exact specifications. I saw on his website that he has some unique designs including some impressive scrimshaw work on some of his cues.

Be prepared to spend some money to get his level of quality. If you order from him, directly, his cues start at $1,500. You might have to wait a while for him to make you a cue. He one makes a few dozen cues per year, from what I hear. His cues are beautiful and they play well. I highly recommend them.

Where to buy Paul Mottey Custom Cues:

I've searched and found some Mottey cues for sale, listed on the right of this page. That is, also, a good place to view a variety of Paul's cues to get a feel for his skills.
or
You can order a cue from Paul. His contact information is below.

P.S. If you have any personal knowledge, dealings, experience and/or opinions about this cue maker, please contact me or post a reply below. Also, click on the rating "stars" to indicate your opinion of this cue maker. Thanks for your participation.

If you own a cue made by Paul Mottey, send me a picture and I'll share it with everyone else. If you have a website to promote, include a link and I'll include it with the picture. People like to see examples and opinions of a cue maker's work before buying.
