Thomas Wayne was involved in making items for magicians for
a while. I was told by a magician that he took money for alot of
orders that were never filled and he just dissappeared off the
scene with no one able to contact him.

Then Thomas won a poker tournament and it was my
understanding that he developed a very bad gambling habit and
lost nearly everything including his wife.

Probably not the safest idea to buy anything from this guy, would
be my advice. I've also heard all the stories of Thomas getting
angry and sawing up peoples cues and mailing them back in shoebox.

Is that the kinda info you were looking for?

Thought I should let everyone know after about 11 years I got my cue back. Had to go through a third party who happened to be getting a couple of cues from TW and mine was shipped to him. Then he in turned shipped mine to me. Love this cue and glad to have it back, but it will never make the trip to Alaska agian. A very special thanks to Keith Walton.

Hi Tommy,
I would try a couple of places. The AZ billiards forum gets a lot of traffic. If your not familiar with it, go to http://forums.azbilliards.com/ and check out the wanted/for sale section.
Secondly, I'd try ebay. If you do ebay, I'd still put a link on the azbilliard forum to get more interest.
No matter what you do, I'd be glad to put some picks and info on my site for you. I seem to get a lot of traffic for Thomas Wayne cues. I'd love to see the cue.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Good luck Tommy!
Cheers,
Skippy

Hello all

I have a TW that I picked up about 7 yrs ago. Not sure what
name it falls under, in terms of design. From my
understanding, there was only 7 of them made. It has
allot of inlay work, sorta like webbing. Original estimated
cost was around $2000. Where is a good place to unload it,
looking to sell......

Hi Dena,
What do you think of how Thomas' cue plays? Can you compare it to any other cues you have used? Thanks for adding to the conversation here. You're lucky to have such a fine cue.

I know Thomas personally and purchased a cue right out of his shop. However, my understanding is he no longer builds cues. I could be wrong about that but heard he had a falling out with the American Cuemakers Association. He is eccentric but he takes great personal pride in his cues and each time I've seen him at the pool hall he'll come over and look at the cue I purchased from him to see how it's holding up and probably to make sure I'm taking good care of it.

Yeah, if you want your artist to be nuts, wayne fits the bill perfectly. His work is awesome, but he is a dangerous bi-polar lunatic. Good luck in your endeavors of getting a pool cue from him.
