Great cuemaker. If you do purchase a cue I strongly suggest never sending it to him to have any work done. I sent my TW to him nearly ten years ago and am still trying to get it back!
I have three of his 8 point cues. Have seen some of his higher end stuff, and the art work is fantastic.
I am not big on sharing my cue pics. I dont wanna see them pop up on Ebay. But since I have a few pics on Photobucket. You may post them.

Thanks for sharing your pics 06Busa. That’s a nice collection. Do you play with all of those cues?
why are you doing research on thomas? and seeings you have his home phone number and adress, why dont you just call and ask him? seems to me, the fact that you dont might give reason to suspect you have unkind motives. Thomas’s cues speek for themselves, we all know he set the bar for the next generation of cue makers and collectors alike. Excentric he is, but thats what we look for in a artist. lol
his cues are the most studied and begrudgingly admired cues(by other makers) that have ever been made. what more do people really need to know? ok…how about he likes dumping a god auful amount of pepper in his catchup when eating french fries! lol
Craig…I’m trying to provide a site that allows people to give feedback about cuemakers…good or bad. I have not expressed any opinion of Thomas, because I have not had the chance to review his work in person. I don’t know why you would suggest my motives are “unkind”. Unless I have personal experience with a cuemaker, I try to stay neutral. It sounds like your a fan of Mr. Wayne, that’s great.
I can look at cues and tell right away whether I like the craftsmanship, design, etc. I think people want to be able to find out the other intangibles about a business person before they spend $900, $1500, $4000 or more on a custom cue. They want to know if they can rely on the cuemaker. They want to know if they will stand behind the cue they build. They want to know if the guy is a good person to do business with or if he is a jerk. I’m not suggesting Thomas is any of those things, but there certainly is “more” to know about a business person when you plan on giving them a lot of your money.
Thanks for your comments. If you have constructive information about Thomas Wayne, other than his eating habits, I’m sure people might be interested to here them.
Yes, I do or have played with all of them. I rotate them.
I have read on the internet that he is pretty slow at making repairs or at least getting a cue returned. None of mine are a direct order there have been middlemen with my Wayne purchases. I have never talked to him. I want to add a McWorter to my collection. But I believe Jerry’s cues cost even more than TW’s.
fair enough…….thomas wayne taught jerry about cnc machines and inlay. he even built jerrys first machine for him. upon looking at jerrys first cue thomas proceeded in bend jerry over a work bench and giveing him two of three good smacks for poor workmanship as such happnes with teacher and apprentice from time to time. think thomas’s cues might be worth more.
Hello webmaster
I would like to share with you a link to your site
write me here preonrelt@mail.ru
Yeah, if you want your artist to be nuts, wayne fits the bill perfectly. His work is awesome, but he is a dangerous bi-polar lunatic. Good luck in your endeavors of getting a pool cue from him.
I know Thomas personally and purchased a cue right out of his shop. However, my understanding is he no longer builds cues. I could be wrong about that but heard he had a falling out with the American Cuemakers Association. He is eccentric but he takes great personal pride in his cues and each time I’ve seen him at the pool hall he’ll come over and look at the cue I purchased from him to see how it’s holding up and probably to make sure I’m taking good care of it.
Hi Dena,
What do you think of how Thomas’ cue plays? Can you compare it to any other cues you have used? Thanks for adding to the conversation here. You’re lucky to have such a fine cue.
Hello all
I have a TW that I picked up about 7 yrs ago. Not sure what
name it falls under, in terms of design. From my
understanding, there was only 7 of them made. It has
allot of inlay work, sorta like webbing. Original estimated
cost was around $2000. Where is a good place to unload it,
looking to sell……
Hi Tommy,
I would try a couple of places. The AZ billiards forum gets a lot of traffic. If your not familiar with it, go to http://forums.azbilliards.com/ and check out the wanted/for sale section.
Secondly, I’d try ebay. If you do ebay, I’d still put a link on the azbilliard forum to get more interest.
No matter what you do, I’d be glad to put some picks and info on my site for you. I seem to get a lot of traffic for Thomas Wayne cues. I’d love to see the cue.
Anyone else have any suggestions?
Good luck Tommy!
Cheers,
Skippy
Thought I should let everyone know after about 11 years I got my cue back. Had to go through a third party who happened to be getting a couple of cues from TW and mine was shipped to him. Then he in turned shipped mine to me. Love this cue and glad to have it back, but it will never make the trip to Alaska agian. A very special thanks to Keith Walton.
I have the secound cue made by TW .He’s He’scome a long way. TW is really the name of two people. I love my TW and will be buried with it. It has been the best hitting cue I’ve shot with. TW looks great and hits better than it looks so wate as long as it takes and count yourself lucky to be in line. And good luck getting it.
well i am sure his cues are great as for his timeliness he could improve it seems but in the end his work is undeniable i am just curious as to whether or not he puts time into his customer services.
Thomas Wayne was involved in making items for magicians for
a while. I was told by a magician that he took money for alot of
orders that were never filled and he just dissappeared off the
scene with no one able to contact him.
Then Thomas won a poker tournament and it was my
understanding that he developed a very bad gambling habit and
lost nearly everything including his wife.
Probably not the safest idea to buy anything from this guy, would
be my advice. I’ve also heard all the stories of Thomas getting
angry and sawing up peoples cues and mailing them back in shoebox.
Is that the kinda info you were looking for?
Purchased a Wayne cue several years ago from someone else. Great looking cue but in fit of temper I broke the butt below the joint screw. Sold it back the they guy I bought it from. Great looking cue but way too expensive.
